Did you see that Amazon’s Send to Kindle now accepts EPUB files?
Here are some answers to questions you may have.
It’s official. As of August 1, KDP no longer accepts files in the MOBI format. To publish your ebook with KDP, you’ll need to upload Vellum’s Kindle EPUB output.
Amazon KDP will stop accepting MOBI files later this year. Instead, you’ll need to upload your ebook in the EPUB format. Vellum has you covered.
Amazon now recommends providing an EPUB file for publishing instead of a file in their MOBI format. MOBI files are still supported, but may not be for long.
We’ve seen a number of problems with images in sideloaded books when using the latest version of Kindle for Mac.
