macOS Tahoe Now Available

Apple has released Tahoe, the newest version of macOS. It includes improvements to Spotlight as well as a new appearance called Liquid Glass.

In some places, Tahoe takes a step back in usability. In particular, Apple’s Preview app will now display pages of your PDF with rounded corners, potentially cutting off content of your book.*  Should you decide to update to Tahoe, we recommend installing Acrobat Reader as an alternative for proofing PDFs.

We’ve tested beta versions of Tahoe, and recently released Vellum 3.9.3 to address the minor visual problems we encountered. If you experience any other issues with Vellum on macOS Tahoe, please let us know.

* This appears to be fixed in the coming release of 26.1
