We are pleased to announce that Vellum is now available for download from the Mac App Store.

The Mac App Store offers an easy payment system and integrated installer, and we’re happy to give users another option for downloading Vellum. For those who prefer to download directly from us, Vellum will continue to be available on the Vellum website as well.

But for some minor changes required for acceptance, the Mac App Store version of Vellum and the Direct version are the same. Both versions allow you to import, format, and preview your book, then activate eBook generation through an in-app purchase. For the security-minded, both versions make use of Apple’s sandboxing technology. And both versions allow you to create the same beautiful eBooks for iBooks, Kindle, and Nook. You just choose the way you prefer to download.
